About
Welcome!
Thank you for being here.
The road to becoming an Early Childhood Mental Health consultant, Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, and early learning professional development instructor began for me years ago. Language access was my focus at the start of my professional career. I worked with English language learners of all ages and supported families at medical facilities as a Spanish language interpreter. It was only when I became an educator in a Spanish immersion early learning program that I caught a glimpse of not only the complexity of language development in the early years, but also the incredible world of human development and relationships. I spent the next decade learning about attachment, child development, the nervous system, trauma, and adult-child interactions. Today, my "client" in the work is neither the adult nor the child separately, but the relationship - the dynamic creation of the two combined.
I am honored to partner with educators, parents, and caregivers on this journey of connection and love that unfolds when we are bold enough to risk being in relationship with one another, surrounded by the unique communities that sustain us.
